I am an experienced freelance journalist, copywriter and researcher living and working in the UK. I write feature articles, news reports and book reviews, as well as copy for websites, reports, brochures and so on. I work for a variety of clients including national magazines, news websites, trade unions and charities.
After 25 years in the trade, I can write about anything but my usual beats are politics, economics, Whitehall, the NHS, work, books and Europe — especially France (I’m a fluent French speaker).
I’m also editor of Healthcare Manager magazine and, with my colleague James Sparling, a partner at communications agency Lexographic. I work regularly as a consultant for Managers in Partnership and the FDA trade union.
I’m available for individual commissions, or ongoing consultancy work through my company Lexographic. Visit my Published Work page to see some samples of recent stuff or drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
